Finally finished reading "the tortured soul trilogy". First, let me say it is very long. It is 4 books in one. Cj Cassidy did his best trying to tie all the stories together, but at times it was hard to follow.
I enjoyed the book even though it was long. I shared all kids of emotions while reading this book. I felt compassion for the women and their difficult lives but I also laughed and enjoyed the erotic scenes which there was plenty of. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read Finally finished reading "the tortured soul trilogy". I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read about something different than the "knight in shinning armour" that we use to seeing in the typical erotic romantic book.

As I read this book, i thought that it would be awesome because it's the usual genre that I read. When i read the first book i thought it was ok. The rest of them I really didn't get a connection when reading books in this series I am easily hooked and i would stay up all night reading, but that didn't happen.

I found myself crying, laughing and cheering for these women all the while falling in love with them. I just know this book will stay with me for the rest of my life. It can and did help so many woman find the strength they need to get out of bad relationships. It leads you through the lives of real people, not just characters. I was so very wrong! This book has feeling, I went through all emotions as I read it. It pulled me into their lives, made me visualize everything that they went through.
Made me realize that the lifestyle is not all abo Greatness First let me say that this book is not for the faint of heart, and it's not only about sex it goes way deeper than that.
Made me realize that the lifestyle is not all about sex and control, it's about love, compassion, and pushing limits and most of all I most definitely recommend this book to everyone, it can be life changing but don't take my word for it, read it yourself. I wish I could have given more stars, and fingers crossed that someone will make it into a movie or tv series! Absolutely loved it!!!!

Sometimes Point of View swaps off in the same paragraph, which can be confusing at times. Not for the faint of heart or casual contemporary reader, this book opens with a brutal rape. Look in the mirror: do you see Lenina Crowne looking back at you, or do you see John the Savage?

Aldous Huxley was born on 26th July near Godalming, Surrey. He began writing poetry and short stories in his early twenties, but it was his first novel, 'Crome Yellow' , which established his literary reputation. This was swiftly followed by 'Antic Hay' , 'Those Barren Leaves' and 'Point Counter Point' - bright, brilliant satires in which Huxley wittily but ruthlessly passed judgement on the shortcomings of contemporary society.
